Terms of use

These plain-language terms cover how you may use the Awning & Pixel website. Last updated July 2026.

Acceptance of these terms

By accessing awningandpixel.com (the “site”), you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

What this site is

This site is an informational showcase of Awning & Pixel’s web design services. Nothing here is a binding offer. Submitting our contact form starts a conversation, not a contract — any project we take on is governed by a separate written agreement we both sign.

Acceptable use

Please use the site lawfully. Don’t attempt to disrupt it or gain unauthorized access, don’t scrape or copy it to power a competing service, and don’t upload or transmit malicious code through any form on it.

Our intellectual property

The design, copy, graphics, logos, and code on this site are owned by Awning & Pixel LLC or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law. You’re welcome to view the site and share links to it, but you may not reproduce, republish, or repurpose any part of it without our written permission. “Awning & Pixel LLC” and our logo are our marks.

The subscription

Our standard offer is a subscription: $99 a month with nothing due up front, covering the design, build, content, domain, hosting, edits, support, and the Awning & Pixel app. The first year is a 12-month plan; after that it continues month-to-month and you can cancel anytime. Your domain is yours from day one and stays yours whatever happens — we never hold it against payment. Cancel after the first year with 30 days’ notice and nothing further is owed: we hand over a working copy of your website too, and help you move it. Cancel during the first year and what’s left of the build comes due — the up-front design and build work the monthly spreads across the year. It can never exceed the payments remaining, it carries no interest, and it is not a penalty. Paying it releases the full handover right away. Your rate is fixed for that first year; after that we may change it, but only with at least 60 days’ written notice and never more than once a year. If a new rate isn’t for you, you can leave at your current rate. The details of any engagement are set by the written agreement we both sign; if that agreement and this page ever differ, the agreement governs.

Pricing and proposals

The published price applies to new subscriptions and may change for future customers; your own rate is set by the agreement you sign — and fixed for your first year. Work outside the standard offer, such as physical printing, is quoted separately in writing, and any project begins under a signed agreement that sets the actual scope, fees, and schedule.

Privacy

We respect your privacy and build with Privacy by Design. The site uses no tracking or advertising cookies, and only privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics that records aggregate, anonymous traffic. How we handle the details you send through our contact form is described in our Privacy policy.

Third-party links and services

The site links to and relies on third-party services — for example our social profiles, our email forwarding service at forms.awningandpixel.com that processes our contact form, and Cloudflare, which hosts the site. We don’t control those services and aren’t responsible for their content or practices; your use of them is governed by their own terms.

Disclaimer

The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We work to keep it accurate and online, but we don’t guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or current.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Awning & Pixel LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the site.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted here, and continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
